📌 Auto log-out settings are only available on the Enterprise plan.

What is Auto Log-out?

Auto log-out is a security feature that automatically logs out an account after a certain period of inactivity. It helps you use the service more securely by preventing unauthorized access to your account while you are away.

If a Member with Security permissions sets an Auto log-out time for a Space as a company or organizational policy, each Member must set their individual account's Auto log-out time according to that standard to Login to Dataspace.

Why should you use Auto Log-out settings?

1️⃣ Effectively reduce the risk of unauthorized access and session hijacking

In a work environment, login sessions may remain active due to the use of shared PCs, leaving your seat, or long periods of inactivity. Applying Auto log-out terminates the session after a certain period of inactivity, significantly lowering the possibility of third parties accessing or abusing the account.

2️⃣ Strengthen compliance with organizational security policies and data protection levels

Auto log-out is a key feature that supports organization-wide security control beyond individual account protection. Applying consistent session management standards reduces the chance of unauthorized viewing of sensitive survey data, customer information, and internal reports, and helps meet information security policies and compliance requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q. Can members who set their individual account logout time longer than the auto log-out standard set in the Space still access the Space?

A. No, if the 'Auto log-out settings' standard required by the Space is not met, you cannot access that Space.

If your individual account's auto log-out time is set longer than the standard set by the Space, you must change the auto log-out time in your individual security settings to be shorter, matching the Space's standard.

After clicking the [Go to settings] button in the guide message, you can log in again once you change the setting to a time shorter than the auto log-out standard required by the Space.
