What Is Two-Factor Authentication Login?

Two-factor authentication login is a feature that strengthens account security by requiring verification through an additional authentication method beyond just a password.

When a member with Security permission in a Space activates the two-factor authentication setting, each member must enable two-factor authentication in their personal security settings in order to access the Space.

In other words, even if a password is leaked, a person cannot log in without passing the additional authentication procedure — effectively reducing the risk of account hijacking.

Why Should You Use Two-Factor Authentication Login?

1️⃣ Significantly reduces the risk of account takeover and unauthorized access.

Account compromise incidents typically begin with password leaks. With two-factor authentication applied, users are verified once more through a one-time authentication code, authenticator app, or additional authentication method even after entering their password. Thanks to this double-verification structure, even if a password is exposed externally, third parties can be effectively blocked from actually accessing the account.

2️⃣ Systematically strengthens the security level at the organizational level.

Two-factor authentication goes beyond protecting individual accounts — it serves to strengthen the security policies of the entire Space. Since all members are held to the same authentication standard, internal account management levels improve and the risk of unauthorized access to sensitive data, survey results, customer information, etc. can be systematically reduced. This also plays an important role in maintaining security compliance and organizational trustworthiness.
