📌 The survey download feature is available on all plans and is provided only for surveys created directly within DataSpace.
How to Download a Survey as Excel
Step 1. After creating a survey on the ‘Edit’ screen, click [Download] at the top right of the screen.
Step 2. Select the download icon to the right of ‘Excel’.
Step 3. Select either ‘Basic Fields’ or ‘All Fields’ to download.
Basic Fields: A file containing key information such as question type, question text, and options.
All Fields: A file containing all configuration information, including logic and option settings.
💡 Usage tip: The downloaded Excel file is categorized by question blocks, and you can expand or hide each block using the + or - buttons on the left. This allows you to filter by question block and quickly check specific question types or all questions.

When reviewing a survey, there are times when you want to look at the overall flow and logic at once rather than each question individually. By using the Excel download feature, you can download the entire structure of the survey—including questions, options, set logic, and comments—as an Excel (.xlsx) file to check everything at a glance. Reviewing the survey in an Excel file makes it easy to check if the survey flow is natural and if any logic parts are missing without having to click on each individual question. It is particularly useful when you want to discover logic errors or configuration issues in advance and improve the design quality before distributing the survey.
Downloading a Survey as PDF
Step 1. After creating a survey on the ‘Edit’ screen, click the icon at the top right of the screen.
Step 2. Select the download icon to the right of ‘PDF’.
Step 3. ‘Basic Information’ is provided by default without additional settings. Select the desired options (Detailed Settings or Comments) according to your purpose.
Basic Information: Includes basic information such as survey title, question type, question text, and options.
Detailed Settings: Additionally includes detailed configuration details such as response detail options, logic, and randomization.
Comments: Additionally includes all comments except for resolved ones.
Step 4. When you click [Download], a preview screen for downloading is generated, and the PDF file is automatically downloaded.
