Please note that our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy will be updated as follows.

2. Purpose and Details of the Changes

  • New provisions have been added to introduce the "Free Service" offered through the "Dataspace” service.

Article 1 (Definitions), Clause 9 - Newly Added

  • “Free Service”: Refers to a service provided by the “the Company” to the “Member” at no cost and at the sole discretion of the “the Company”.

Article 10 (Use of Free Service) - Newly Added

  • “The Company” may provide “Free Services” to the “Member” solely for the “Dataspace” service at its own discretion.

  • “The Company” may modify the terms or suspend the provision of the “Free Service” at any time without prior notice.

Article 16 (Rights and Responsibilities Regarding Data), Clause 11 - Newly Added

  • While “the Company” provides the “Free Service,” the “Member-Collected Data” collected by the “Member” is stored on “the Company’s” server.

  • “The Company” will permanently delete the “Member-Collected Data” within 30 days from the date of the “Member’s” withdrawal.

  • Policy changes related to access to “member-collected data” have been implemented, and relevant articles have been added and revised.

Article 9 (Use of Paid Services), Clause 12

  • If the Member transitions to Paid Services during the Trial period, access to the data collected will remain available after the Trial is over. If the Member does not transition to Paid Services during the Trial period, access to the relevant data will no longer be available after the Trial period expires.

Article 9 (Use of Paid Services), Clause 12 (Redundant Content Removed)

  • During the “trial” period, if the user switches to the paid service, access to the data collected during the “trial” period will continue to be available throughout the duration of the paid service.

Article 16 (Rights and Responsibilities Regarding Data), Clause 7 (Newly Added Due to Policy Change)

  • The right to access “member-collected data” belongs solely to the member. However, if there is an explicit request from the member, the company may access the “member-collected data” within the scope and period authorized by the member. In such cases, the company may access the data only for customer support (CS) purposes, and all access records will be logged and managed.

  • After the termination of a Paid Service contract, access to Member-Collected Data from the period of the service contract will be subject to the pricing policy set by the Company. Before the contract ends, the Member may download their Member-Collected Data.

  • A member who uses the “Dataspace” service on a paid basis may download their “member-collected data” before the termination of the paid service contract. Once the paid service is terminated, the member will no longer have access to the “member-collected data.” If the member does not resume the paid service contract within 90 days after its termination, “the Company” will permanently delete the “member-collected data” within 30 days from that point.

  • If the member does not switch to the paid service during the “trial” period of the paid service offered for free by “the Company”, the “member-collected data” will be irreversibly deleted within 120 days after the expiration of the “trial” period. “The Company” shall bear no responsibility or obligation for recovery.

  • Seventhly, Personal information may be collected during the course of the client company's use of the “Dataspace” service, either through direct input or file uploads.

    • My Panel Input Information: Name, mobile number, email address

    • Uploaded Files: Name, mobile number, email address

    • Survey Response Information: Personal information entered by the client company’s survey respondents, depending on the type of survey

Article 2, Section B (How We Collect Personal Information)

  • Personal information is collected from the responses entered by the client company’s survey respondents during the course of answering the survey.

  • Articles have been revised based on changes to the data retention and usage period policy.

Article 3 (Personal Information Usage and Retention Period)

  • The Company uses and retains your personal information for a time period you consent to or as stated by law.

  • Once your personal information serves its purpose, the Company deletes it without delay.

  • If you withdraw your consent of the collection and usage of your personal information, the Company deletes your personal information without delay.

  • Personal information that is within the retention period, notified in advance and under your consent, is retained according to the stipulated time period.

Article 3 (Personal Information Usage and Retention Period)

  • The company retains and processes personal information within the legally mandated retention period or the period agreed upon at the time of collection by the data subject.

  • The specific retention and processing periods for each type of personal information are as follows:

    • Membership registration and management: Until the member withdraws from the service

    • Service inquiries: 6 months from the date of the quotation request

    • Newsletter subscription: Until the user unsubscribes or withdraws consent for marketing use

    • My Panel input and uploaded data: Until the user manually deletes the panel or the space is deleted

    • Survey response personal information: Until the deletion date set by the client, or up to a maximum of 300 days

    • Sensitive information in survey responses: 1 year

Article 4 (How We Delete Personal Information)

  • Identity verification records: 6 months (according to the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

Article 6 (Delegation of Personal Information Processing), Section B (International Transfer of Personal Information)

  • Delegator: Zoom

    • Information manager and contact info : privacy@zoom.us

    • Purpose of disclosure : Recording of meetings, calls, and conversations

    • Recipient country : USA

    • Transfer method and time : Transmitted via network when the customer records a meeting and saves it to the cloud

    • Transferred personal information : Recorded video

    • Usage and retention period : Until the end of the survey for which the user consented to provide information

[Agreement on the Collection and Usage of Personal Information]

  • Due to changes in the data retention and usage period policy, the consent form provided at the time of registration has been revised.

3. Objections and Inquiries

If you have any questions regarding these changes to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, please contact the Opensurvey Help Center.

If you do not agree with the revised Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, you may request to withdraw your membership. If no objections are raised by the effective date, it will be considered that you have agreed to the changes.
