Understand when Response Credits and Message Credits are used while collecting responses in your dataspace or sending surveys directly.

What Are Response Credits and Message Credits?

① Response Credits

Response Credits are used when collecting survey responses. When you collect responses by creating a survey link or QR code in Dataspace, or by sending a survey via email, Response Credits are deducted based on the number of responses collected.

② Message Credits

Message Credits are used when sending surveys to the target audience. These are divided into email credits and other messaging credits. When sending a survey, Message Credits are deducted equal to the number of recipients targeted.

Response Credits and Message Credits are deducted and returned based on the following criteria:

Deduction Criteria

  • Deducted based on the 'Target Collection Volume' set by the user at the start of collection.

  • Deducted based on the 'Number of Recipients' added by the user when the collection starts.

  • Deducted for the number of recipients resent by the user in an ongoing collection group.

Return Criteria

  • When the collection group status changes to [Closed], unused credits are returned by subtracting the actual number of collected responses from the target collection volume.

  • For recipients whose sending status is [Failed], credits are returned for the number of failed recipients within 10 minutes.

📌 Important Notes Before Collecting Responses!

  • If you schedule a collection group for a future start time, Response Credits will be deducted when the collection transitions to the Live status, not at the time of scheduling.

  • The collection group's Closed status occurs in two ways:

    • Manually changed by the user in the sending history, or

    • Automatically updated 3 months after the collection enters the Paused status.

  • If you resend a survey via email, Message Credits will be deducted again. Ensure you have sufficient Message Credits to resend the survey. If additional credits are needed, click the Inquire about additional purchases button!
