In Dataspace, you can create a collection group to generate a response link or QR code and send surveys via email. However, the [Start] option may be restricted in certain situations. This article explains the scenarios in which starting a collection is restricted and how to resolve them.
Situations Where Collection Start Is Restricted and How to Resume
① If You Have Not Subscribed to a Plan
To collect survey responses in Dataspace, you need to subscribe to a plan. If your subscription has expired or you have not subscribed to a suitable plan, you will be restricted from starting a collection.
Resolution:
Please subscribe to an appropriate plan to proceed with collecting responses. You can check and manage your subscription under Dataspace Settings > Payment > Plan > Inquire
② If the Number of Registered Respondents Exceeds the Limit
If the number of registered respondents exceeds your plan's limit, you cannot start a collection.
When Does This Happen?
This situation typically occurs when renewing a plan with a lower registered respondent limit than your previous subscription. For example, if your plan previously allowed 20,000 respondents but you renewed with a plan allowing only 10,000, the number of registered respondents may exceed the new limit, restricting collection initiation.
Example Scenario:
Suppose your space currently has 20,000 registered respondents, but you did not purchase additional capacity when renewing your subscription. Your new plan allows for 10,000 registered respondents, which means your current 20,000 respondents exceed the allowed limit.
How to Resume [Start]
In this case, you can resume [Start] by selecting one of the methods below.
1) Purchase additional 'Number of registered panels' products. You can check the number of registered panels in Dataspace Settings > Pay-per-use > Inquire
2) Delete the previously registered panels according to the 'Number of panels that can be registered'. You can delete the panels that have already been registered from GNB > My Panel
