📌 URL parameters, other survey responses, and custom Embedded Data are available on the Professional plan and above.
📌 My Panel profile and other (language) are available on the Enterprise plan.
Register a URL Parameter Key
Register parameter key > Add to survey > Reflect in question logic |
1️⃣ Go to URL Parameter under Settings
To apply a parameter to a survey, you must first register the parameter you'll use in the space.
step 1. Go to [Settings] > [URL Parameter].
step 2. The parameter list shows the parameters currently registered. If you haven't registered any parameters yet, only the default UID is shown.
(※ UID is a unique identifier used to distinguish respondents, and it cannot be deleted.)
step 3. Click the [+ Register Parameter] button in the upper right corner of the screen.
2️⃣ Register the parameter
step 1. On the parameter registration screen, enter the following information.
Parameter key: the identifier value included in the survey link. Only English letters, numbers, and underscores (_) can be entered.
e.g. user_id (member ID), user_age_10 (age group), store (visited store name), etc.
Description: enter the purpose or meaning of the parameter. Adding a description helps other members of the space easily understand what the parameter is for, and makes it easier to manage multiple parameters systematically.
💡 Tip | Parameter keys are not case-sensitive. For example, if you've already registered the parameter key "Store," then "store" is treated as a duplicate and cannot be registered.
💡 Tip | A registered parameter key cannot be edited — only its description can be. To change the key itself, delete the existing parameter and register it again.
💡 Tip | "hmac" is a keyword used internally by the Dataspace system and cannot be used as a parameter key. (※ This prevents parameter values from being altered arbitrarily.)
step 2. Once registration is complete, the parameter is added to the parameter list.
3️⃣ Add Embedded Data to the survey
You need to add the Embedded Data registered in the space to the survey so it can be referenced in the question you want, to personalize the survey or use in result analysis.
step 1. Select the survey to add Embedded Data to.
step 2. Click [Settings] on the left of the Edit tab, and the "Embedded data" section appears at the bottom.
step 3. In the URL Parameter section, click [+ Add] and select the parameter to add.
Register a My Panel Profile
Register panelist info > Add to survey > Reflect in question logic |
1️⃣ Create a profile variable in My Panel
step 1. Go to [My Panel] > [Profile Management] and click [+ Add Profile Variable].
step 2. Enter the name of the variable to add, and click [Upload].
💡 Tip | Variable names cannot be duplicated, and can only contain Korean characters, English letters, numbers, _ (underscore), and - (dash).
step 3. If the profile variable has one or more values, click [+ Add Value] to add them. Values under the same profile variable cannot be duplicated.
e.g. If you register a profile variable named "Gender," its values can be set to Male, Female, and Other.
step 4. The profile variables and values you've created can be viewed on the [Profile Management] screen.
2️⃣ Register the profile variable to panelists in My Panel
You can register the created profile variable to a newly added panelist or to a panelist who has already been added.
✅ Adding a new panelist
step 1. In My Panel, click the [+ Add Panelist] button on the right of the screen, and select either "Direct input" or "File upload."
step 2. Register the panelist according to your selection.
Direct input: enter basic information identifying the panelist under "Basic info," then select the profile variable and its option (value) to add under "Register profile," and click [Save].
File upload: click [Download upload template] to download the file, fill it in following the template, and upload it again.
✅ A panelist who has already been added
step 1. On the My Panel screen, select the panelist to add a profile variable to, and click the [Edit] button.
step 2. Under "Add profile variable" at the bottom of the "Edit Panelist" screen, select the profile variable and profile value to add.
step 3. The added profile appears under "Added profiles" at the bottom; click [Save].
💡 Tip | If you want to edit multiple panelists at once, select the panelists you want on the My Panel screen and use the [Profile Bulk Edit] button.
3️⃣ Add Embedded Data to the survey
You need to add the Embedded Data registered in the space to the survey so it can be referenced in the question you want, to personalize the survey or use in result analysis.
step 1. Select the survey to add Embedded Data to.
step 2. Click [Settings] on the left of the Edit tab, and the "Embedded data" section appears at the bottom.
step 3. In the My Panel Profile section, click [+ Add] to open the "Add My Panel Profile" window.
step 4. Select the profile variable you registered earlier from the list, and click [Add].
Add Other Survey Responses
Add other survey responses to survey > Reflect in question logic |
step 1. Select the survey to add Embedded Data to.
step 2. Click [Settings] on the left of the Edit tab, and the "Embedded data" section appears at the bottom.
step 3. In the "Other survey responses" section, click [+ Add].
step 4. In the "Add as Other Survey Response Embedded Data" window, select the project and then the survey, select the question(s) to bring in as this survey's Embedded Data, and click [Add]. You can select multiple questions.
Add Custom
Add to survey > Reflect in question logic > Include in collection group |
step 1. Select the survey to add Embedded Data to.
step 2. Click [Settings] on the left of the Edit tab, and the "Embedded data" section appears at the bottom.
step 3. In the "Custom" section, click [+ Add], and enter a name and sub-identifier values (e.g., Gangnam branch, Seolleung branch).
Other (Language)
Add translation language under [Language] tab > Reflect in question logic |
Unlike other types, Other (language) is not added directly on this screen. When you add a translation language under a survey's Language tab, that language is automatically added to the "Other" section of the "Embedded data" area.
📌 There is no separate [+ Add] button, and this item only appears once the survey has at least one translation language registered.
