Q5. How are other views in Google Forms handled when importing?
Other values in Google Forms are treated as the same type as other values in the dataspace.
Q6. Will the Google account linked to the data space be automatically logged out afterwards?
When you link your Google account for Google Forms import, your login session will automatically expire after 1 hour for security reasons. If you want to import Google Forms after the session expiration time, you must link your Google account again. Even if your Google login session expires, the data you have imported will be stored in Space and can be opened in Analysis at any time.
Q7. What happens to the imported data if I unlink the Google account linked to Open Survey?
Even if your Google login session expires, data you've imported will remain in Spaces and can be accessed in Analytics at any time.
Q8. After importing Google Forms, I collected additional responses using the form. Can I update the data linked to the additional responses?
We do not currently provide the ability to update Google Forms data that has already been imported. If you want to update Google Forms data that has already been imported, you will need to start the import process again from the beginning. Therefore, we recommend that you perform the import process after completing the response collection.
Q9. I changed the variable information after importing Google Forms. Can I update the data with the changes?
We do not currently provide a feature to update Google Forms data that has already been imported. If you want to update the variable information of a Google Form that has already been imported, you will need to start the import process again from the beginning. Therefore, we recommend that you perform the import process after completing the response collection.
Q10. I finished importing Google Forms, but when I checked the result data in Analysis, I found that some of the data had errors. How do I fix this?
When collecting responses with Google Forms, if you change the variable type after collecting the response, some data may have errors when importing.
For example, if you collect responses as a multiple-choice duplicate variable type in Google Forms and then change it to an assessment variable type in the middle and collect additional responses, some of the multiple-choice duplicate response data and some of the assessment response data will be mixed in one variable. In this case, if you delete the response data collected as multiple-choice duplicate variables before changing the variable type in Google Forms and then import it again, the error will not occur.
If there is an error in the data when importing Google Forms, even though it is not in the above situation, please share the problem with the Open Survey team by clicking the chat consultation button at the bottom right. We will help you quickly.
