What Is the Dataspace API?
The Dataspace API (Application Programming Interface) is a gateway that allows external software or a company's internal systems to directly call and use the features of Opensurvey Dataspace.
Simply put, it is a technical means by which, without directly accessing the Dataspace web interface, you can programmatically retrieve survey lists, collect response data in real time, and fetch analysis results.
Why Should You Use the API?
1️⃣ Integrating survey response data
You can directly query survey response data stored on Dataspace's servers from your own servers. This enables flexible data utilization — such as reflecting research results in your internal analytics dashboard in real time, or automatically awarding your own store's rewards when a survey is completed.
2️⃣ Syncing your customer information
Connect customer information from your company's internal database with MY Panel information in Dataspace as a single source. When events such as membership registration, profile updates, opt-outs, or account deletions occur in your own service, the API detects these and immediately reflects them in the Dataspace profile as well — so you can always target and analyze respondents based on the most up-to-date information.
3️⃣ Utilizing survey URL parameters
You can embed information from your internal database — such as customer IDs or order details — as parameters in the survey URL. The parameter values collected this way are combined with the survey data, helping you precisely identify who the respondents are and enabling high-level analysis that links 'order information' with 'survey responses.'
