What is a Report?

What is a Report?

A "Report" is an AI analytics report in which Dataspace AI automatically performs analysis based on the user's analytical objectives and survey data, then delivers the results in a structured format.

With key insights and source data all visible on a single screen, reports enhance the reliability and transparency of analysis results and allow you to clearly verify the basis for the insights generated.

When Do You Need a Report?

✅ When you want to quickly analyze survey data and generate insights

"I have hundreds of survey responses, but reading through them one by one to do the analysis is too difficult. I just want to quickly grasp the key points. 🤔"

🧙 Here's how you can use it:

With Reports, you simply enter your analytical objective and AI automatically generates the key insights and delivers them in a structured format. Even hundreds of responses are distilled into concise summaries and takeaways — significantly reducing the time spent on analysis.

✅ When you need to share analysis results with internal or external stakeholders

"I need to share my analysis results with leadership or other teams, but creating a separate report from scratch is a hassle. 🤔"

🧙 Here's how you can use it:

Reports are available to share as soon as they are generated. You can invite members directly or generate a public link to share with anyone inside or outside your team instantly. Using [Copy Content & Link], you can copy both the key summary and the link at once to share quickly via messenger or email.

Structure of a Generated Report

1️⃣ Research Overview

Review the research objectives and key information about the source data referenced.

  • Data collection method: Refers to how the source data was collected.

  • Response period: Indicates the period during which the source data was collected.

  • Number of responses: Refers to the total number of responses in the source data.

  • Margin of error: Provides the margin of error for the source data.

💡 Tip: The margin of error refers to the range of error that may occur when surveying a subset of respondents (a sample) rather than the entire target population. In general, a smaller margin of error means more reliable results.

2️⃣ Key Insights

Structured insights are provided based on the objectives you specified and the survey data.

  • Summary and recommendations: Clearly presents the key insights and implications derived from the survey results, making them easy to reference quickly in the decision-making process. Source questions are displayed alongside the body text, and hovering over them reveals the supporting evidence (citations) behind each insight.

  • Suggested next steps: Presents actionable strategic items that can be applied based on the analysis results — moving beyond simple data interpretation to support concrete execution.

🧙 Try the 'Share' feature together!

Add specific members or generate a public link so anyone inside or outside your team can view the insights.

Selecting [Copy Content & Link] copies both the link and a key summary of the insights at once, making sharing even more efficient.

3️⃣ Sources

The survey questions and key response content used to generate the insights are provided together.

  • Review the survey questions and response data included in the analysis in detail.

  • Click the [Go to Source Data] button to navigate directly to the actual survey data for a closer look or to use it for further analysis.

How to Generate a Report

Reports can be generated on the spot by requesting one from Dataspace AI.

step 1. Together with the survey data you want to analyze, freely enter what you want to learn or the insights you want to uncover through this analysis.

step 2. Select the project where you want to save the report. Based on your input, Dataspace AI will automatically organize the key insights aligned with your analytical objectives and generate a structured report.

step 3. Once generation is complete, you can view the report immediately. The report includes a research overview, key insights (summary and recommendations, suggested next actions), and the questions and response data that serve as the basis for the insights.

How to View a Report

step 1. Click the [Project] menu and select the project where the report is saved.

step 2. In the Outputs area at the bottom of the screen, click [Report], then select the report you want to view.

💡 Tip: You can continue working with Dataspace AI on follow-up tasks based on a generated report. While maintaining the context of the report, you can request further analysis, explore insights in greater depth, refine survey questions, and more — enabling a continuous and consistent research workflow.
