Minimum Display Time

To improve response accuracy, you can set a minimum number of seconds that a respondent must view a question before proceeding. Once the minimum display time is set, respondents cannot move to the next question until the specified time has elapsed.

💡 Tip | If a respondent tries to proceed before the minimum display time is reached, the message "Please read the content carefully before responding." will be shown.

How to Set the Minimum Display Time

The minimum display time is disabled by default. To configure it, follow the steps below.

Step 1. Click the question for which you want to set a minimum display time.

Step 2. In the [Per-question Settings] panel on the right, enable 'Minimum Display Time' and enter the desired duration between 1 and 60 (seconds).

FAQ

Q. If the minimum display time passes and the respondent moves to the next question, then comes back to the previous one, does the timer reset?

A. No. Once the minimum display time has been met and the respondent moves on, returning to the same question will not restart the timer.
