What is an Anonymous Link?

An anonymous link is a single survey response link that allows multiple respondents to access and answer the survey using the same link.

How to Create an Anonymous Link

To create an anonymous link, select [Create an Anonymous Link] under 'New Collection Group' in the top-right corner of the Collection tab, or press the [Create an Anonymous Link] button in the center or bottom of the screen. This will open the detailed settings screen for the collection group, where you can configure the following:

① Basic information

This section allows you to set the Name of collection group and check the collection method. The collection group name can be up to 50 characters long.

② Anonymous Link

This is the area where you can create and copy the survey response link. Clicking the [Start] button at the bottom right will activate the anonymous link for collecting responses. 'Link activation' means that respondents can access the link and submit their responses. Once the link is activated, you can copy it and distribute it to your target respondents.

  • Deactivated: If the [Start] button has not been clicked, the link will remain Deactivated. When respondents try to access the link, the message "This survey is not currently collecting responses" will appear, and they will not be able to respond.

  • Activated: Once you click the [Start] button, the link address will turn blue, indicating that it is now Activated. At this point, you can begin collecting responses using the link. Ensure that you click the [Start] button to activate the link before distributing it.

③ Advanced settings

You can set whether the same respondent can answer the survey multiple times for each collection group you create.

  • Allows duplicate responses: You can enable or disable the Allows duplicate responses option. The default is disabled, meaning that respondents can only respond once. If enabled, respondents can respond multiple times. For more information, see Setting the Allows Duplicate Responses Option.

Set target number of responses

This is the area where you set the collection goals for the survey you are working on. You can Set the target number of responses and the collection stop time. If either condition is met, the collection group will automatically switch to the 'Paused' status.

  • Target number of responses: Set the target number of responses for the collection group you created. The maximum number of responses that can be collected per survey is 200,000, so the target number of responses entered in the collection group cannot exceed this limit.

  • Paused at: Set the date when response collection will automatically stop after the survey is sent. By default, this date is automatically set to one month after the creation date, but it can be freely modified.
