Add and Remove Project Members

Learn how to add members to collaborate on a project and how to remove them when needed.

📌 Adding project members is only available to members with Team permission who also have "Full Access" in the relevant project.

What Is a Member?

A member is a user who has been invited to Dataspace and uses it together with others. You can invite members to collaborate on projects, manage surveys, review data, and conduct analysis.

How to Add Members to a Project

1️⃣ Go to the Projects screen.

step 1. Select the desired project on the Projects screen.

step 2. Click the [+] button in the upper-right corner.

2️⃣ Enter the member you want to add.

step 1. Enter the name or email of the member you want to add, and assign one of the following access levels: "Full Access," "Download Access," or "Edit Access."

step 2. An invitation email will be sent to the entered member. Once they accept, they can use the project according to their assigned access level.


How to Remove Members from a Project

1️⃣ Go to the Projects screen.

step 1. Select the desired project on the Projects screen.

step 2. Click the [+] button in the upper-right corner.

2️⃣ Select the member to remove.

Click the access level area to the right of the member you want to remove, then click [Remove from project members].


💡 If your access level is "Edit Access," you can request "Full Access"

step 1. Click the [Edit Access] button, then select [Request Full Access].

step 2. The member with "Full Access" will receive a request email. They can click the [Go to Project] button in the email to navigate to the project.

step 3. Click the [+] button in the upper-right corner of the project detail screen. Change the requesting member's access level to "Full Access" and click [Apply] to complete the change.
