What Is the Report Tab?
The Report tab is a space that goes beyond data analysis to automate final report creation and presentation preparation. Opensurvey's proprietary algorithm-based "Insight AI" summarizes the meaning of data in natural language, and you can present directly from the web screen in full screen, or instantly generate an editable PPT report.
When Do You Need the Report Tab?
✅ When you need to quickly summarize key insights
"There's a lot of collected data, but it's exhausting to go through it one by one to find differences that are truly statistically meaningful. I need a summary that looks like it was analyzed by an expert. 🧐"
🧙 Here's how you can use it
Based on the analysis criteria you've set (such as gender, age, etc.), Insight AI automatically identifies groups with a notably higher response rate compared to the total and organizes the findings in sentence form. This lets you quickly grasp the main characteristics without having to review every piece of data individually.
✅ When you need to share results in a meeting right away
"The survey just finished collecting responses and a meeting is scheduled in an hour! There's no time to copy charts and put together a PPT deck — what do I do? 😫"
🧙 Here's how you can use it
You can switch the web screen to full screen and present immediately, without needing to create a separate document. Use the keyboard arrow keys to navigate through charts and show results, so you can share survey findings cleanly even when preparation time is limited.
Key Features and How to Use Them
1️⃣ Presentation Mode
Presentation mode lets you view variable results in full screen at a larger size. You can also select the results of specific variables and download them as files, making it easy to use when creating separate presentation materials or report slides.
How to use
✅ Click the 'Presentation Mode' icon at the bottom left of the variable results screen to activate presentation mode.
💡 Usage tip
In presentation mode, variable results are displayed in full screen. Use the left (←), right (→), up (↑), and down (↓) arrow keys on your keyboard to navigate to the next or previous result.
To exit presentation mode, press the Esc key on your keyboard, or right-click and select 'Exit full screen.'
✅ Select the variable you want from the survey data list on the left, then click the download icon at the bottom right of the variable results screen to download results in PDF, PPT, or PNG format. This feature is used when downloading the results of a single selected variable, not the entire results.
💡 Usage tip
Presentation mode displays all results for a single variable on one screen. Therefore, if there are many choices or banners, some information may not display smoothly on screen.
The recommended number of choices for presentation mode is approximately 12, and it is best to set a maximum of 12 columns for banners.
2️⃣ Insight AI
Insight AI is a feature based on Opensurvey's proprietary algorithm that reads the meaning of data in natural language form. It automatically interprets and presents data with statistically significant differences based on the analysis criteria you have set.

How to Use Insight AI
Analysis criteria are the reference information used when interpreting data. They are used to compare and analyze differences in responses between groups.
1️⃣ Adding and removing analysis criteria
In the analysis criteria area on the right sidebar, click [Add analysis criteria] to select and add the criteria you want.
To remove an added item, click the [X] button to the right of each item to remove that analysis criterion.
💡 Usage tip | You can set up to 6 analysis criteria.
2️⃣ Selecting only the choices you want from analysis criteria
Click an item box in the analysis criteria on the right sidebar to select only specific choices to use in the analysis. If you want to see only choices that have actual responses, activate the 'Only values with responses' toggle in the upper right.
🧙 Understanding Insight AI through an example
Looking at Insight AI based on the results of variable 1 from a sample survey, the default display appears as follows, and when the analysis criteria are changed, the text is regenerated according to the updated criteria.
✅ When gender and age are selected as analysis criteria (default)
The results display the default Insight AI analysis based on gender and age groups.
✅ When gender, age, and occupation are selected as analysis criteria (modified)
The results are regenerated with updated Insight AI analysis text reflecting the newly added occupation criterion.
