Editing MY Panel Information
1) From the DataSpace Home, go to MY Panel via the left-hand menu. You can either search panel information directly or click [View All Panels] to display the full panel list on the screen.
2) In the panel list, select the checkbox on the left of the panel whose information you want to edit. This activates the [Edit] button. When selected, the panel editing screen appears, where you can modify the information.
If you are editing multiple panels, a button at the bottom of the panel editing screen will activate, allowing you to move to the next panel’s editing screen.
3) In the panel editing screen, you can modify the panel’s UID, name, phone number, email, SMS/email opt-out status, and profile information.
UID: A custom identifier that a DataSpace user can assign directly to a panel. It must be unique within the same space and may contain only letters, numbers, hyphens (-), and underscores (_).
Name, Phone Number, Email: Information used when sending surveys. For privacy protection, some information is automatically masked and securely stored.
SMS/Email Opt-out: You can change the SMS or email subscription status. If opt-out is enabled, the panel will be excluded from survey delivery even if they are in the target group.
Add Profile: You can add or delete profiles that were registered in advance. To batch-edit profiles for multiple panels, go to [Panel Management > Batch Edit Profiles]. For creating a new profile, refer to “Create Profile” in MY Panel.
🤔 Why can’t panel IDs be edited?
Panel IDs are unique identifiers automatically assigned when a panel is registered. They are used internally in DataSpace to distinguish panels and therefore cannot be changed.
4) After changing the information, click [Save] to apply the changes. The last edited date can be checked in the panel management list.
Deleting MY Panel Information
1) In the MY Panel list, select the checkbox on the left of the panel you wish to delete. This activates the [Delete] button.
2) Click [Delete] to remove the panel information from the space. Only members with “Privacy” permissions can use the delete function; if you don’t have permission, the [Delete] button will be inactive.
Deleted panel information cannot be recovered.
If you need to register the same information again, you must create a new panel.
When a panel is deleted, the total panel count decreases by the deleted number, allowing you to add the same number of new panels.
🤔 What if the delete option is disabled?
You can check each space member’s permissions under [Settings > DataSpace Settings > Members]. If you need to delete a panel, ask a member with “Privacy” permission or request that an Admin member grant you the “Privacy” permission.
