Can I combine multiple variables when analyzing results?

Updated today

What is a variable?

A variable is the smallest unit that has the same type of information, and in a survey, one question is called a 'variable'.

You can use the variable combination function to combine the values of one variable or create a new variable by combining two or more variables. You can inquire about this through Open Survey chat/email or through your account manager.

How to request variable combinations

Please leave a detailed inquiry so that we can specifically understand the content and intent of the variable combination you requested.

  • Please write the title of the standard questionnaire and the variables and values to be combined accurately.

  • Please also convey what you want to know and the intent of the analysis through the combination of variables. This will help the account manager in charge understand the requested information more accurately.

How many combinations of variables can I request?

For survey results conducted through your account manager, you can request up to 5 variable combinations for free. If you need more variable combinations, additional costs may apply according to the Open Survey pricing system.

📌 Things to know together
