Product update : July 2025

Updated yesterday

This update spans multiple areas: enhanced flexibility in cross‑analysis, strengthened data security, integration with external systems, and expanded response collection using Opensurvey’s own consumer panel.

Dataspace | Collect

Through “Use Consumer Panel”, you can now distribute surveys not only to your existing customers but also to external consumers using Opensurvey’s proprietary panel. This enables the acquisition of broader and more diverse data for applications in marketing, product, customer experience, and beyond.

A pilot distribution stage has also been introduced—surveys with screening criteria can run a trial send first, so you can check incidence rates (IR) in advance and ensure high‑quality responses from the selected target group before full launch.

Dataspace | Analysis

Cross‑analysis tables are now more flexible: you can freely move or add analysis criteria (banners) and targets (cards), and sort variables by value or response order. The color coding criteria have been updated to reflect statistical significance based on P‑Value tests of differences in group proportions or averages, enabling richer interpretation.

Copied tables preserve their color coding, so exports to Excel or Google Sheets maintain visual consistency. Saved analyses can be shared via bookmarked links—with filters, sort orders, confidence levels, and weighting settings preserved—supporting consistent collaboration. A new wide‑view mode lets you explore tables in greater comfort.

Dataspace | Security

Enterprise plan users can automatically anonymize respondent identification information after a designated period—90, 120, 180, or up to 1,000 days post‑collection. Anonymization replaces identifying data to prevent individual tracking, and triggers an email notification to space members upon activation. This helps elevate privacy protection in sensitive projects.

Dataspace | Salesforce Integration

Collected data can now be sent in real time to Salesforce lead and contact pages. You can view and filter this data directly within the Salesforce CRM and incorporate it into reports. The seamless integration improves your ability to respond precisely and timely—for instance, customer service can prepare responses based on survey feedback before engaging directly with respondents.

📢 Important Updates!

Analysis | AI‑assisted grouping now enables quantitative analysis even for short text or ranking responses.

Security | Unified privacy masking rules ensure consistency across projects.

Edit | Survey structure can be downloaded as Excel, helping you view and manage it like a document.

Collect | A “Redirect URL” feature lets you send respondents to a custom URL upon survey completion, reducing drop‑off and improving flow.
