Product update : September 2025

Updated this week

This update enhances productivity across survey editing and analysis while upgrading key features that improve survey management and operational efficiency.

First, the survey editing features have evolved further. “Find and replace” and “PDF Download” functionalities have been added, making not only survey editing but also the processes of reviewing, sharing, and archiving more convenient and systematic.

In addition, the Text AI topic analysis now includes the [Use Existing Analyzed Topics] option, allowing consistent application of criteria used for text data analysis within the company. This ensures reliable results even during long-term data collection and repeated analysis, maintaining consistency throughout the analytical process.

Furthermore, the Workflow (BETA) version has been released this month. Workflow (BETA) helps automate repetitive tasks, monitor key metric changes in real-time, and quickly respond to unexpected situations.

With this update, you can manage surveys more easily, analyze them professionally, and achieve valuable insights for your team and organization using the enhanced capabilities of Dataspace.

Use “Find and replace” to quickly and accurately update repeated expressions

When creating surveys, you often need to edit the same expression across multiple questions. Changes like brand names, terminology standardization, or spelling corrections may seem minor but can affect the entire survey. Manual editing is time-consuming and prone to omissions or errors.

Dataspace’s “Find and replace” feature allows you to search for keywords and replace them all at once or edit them individually. This ensures consistent phrasing across questions and significantly improves the efficiency of survey review and quality management.

Download surveys as PDFs for review, sharing, and record-keeping

After creation, surveys are used for various purposes, including review, team sharing, reporting to stakeholders, and archiving.

To support these needs, Dataspace offers a PDF download feature, optimized so that files can be printed and used as-is. You can save survey titles, questions, and choices exactly as displayed in the UI. Additionally, you can select specific content such as display/move logic, randomization settings, or comments for download as needed.

This allows surveys to serve not only as a creation tool but also as a communication and management asset. Combined with Excel downloads, PDF export provides easy access to results for a variety of purposes.

DataSpace | Analysis

Maintain existing topics to track data flow within the same survey

When collecting data over a long period and conducting repeated topic analysis, it’s important to maintain consistent topic names.

For example, if the topic “Good accessibility” is identified in March’s analysis, subsequent analyses should use the same topic name rather than variations like “High accessibility” or “Easy to access.”

Dataspace provides the “Use Existing Analyzed Topics” option, which lets you import previously analyzed topic names from the same space when running Text AI topic analysis. This ensures consistency, clarifies data flow, and allows more precise insights.

DataSpace | Workflow

Reduce repetitive work and monitor key metrics in real time

Workflow (BETA) automatically executes predefined actions based on user-set conditions.

You can freely configure start conditions, execution criteria, and actions to respond to various situations. Using the “Performance Anomaly Detection & Response Flow” template, you can easily set up automated processes without complex configurations.

When conditions are met, notification emails are automatically sent, minimizing manual tasks while monitoring key metrics and responding to unexpected anomalies.

Future updates will include more templates and action types, further strengthening data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency.

📢 Important Updates!

Analysis|Clicking on Text AI bubble charts now instantly displays a summary of responses for the selected topic, allowing faster analysis of topics of interest.

Analysis|Short text variables can now be set as analysis criteria in reports. For responses collected from consumer panels, gender and age groups can immediately be used as analysis criteria, enabling more efficient analysis.
