📌 Quota setup is provided in Panel Self-Survey using Opensurvey panels and is available on the Professional or Enterprise plan.
What Is Quota Setup?
Quota setup is a method of dividing the target population according to specific criteria and pre-determining the required number of responses from each group.
Using this method, you can secure a sample that evenly reflects the structure of the overall population, and it is easy to adjust respondent composition according to the research purpose or use it for marketing analysis.
Korean Panel Quota Setup Method
1️⃣ Create quota groups.
step 1. In 'Select Sampling Method', select [Custom Quota Setup].
step 2. In the 'Quota' area, click [+Add Quota Component] and select the desired item from the options provided to create quota groups.
✅ Panel Profile (Gender, Age, Place of Residence)
Gender: Can be set for both male and female, or set individually for each.
Age: Can be set in 5-year or 10-year increments; all ages are based on full years.
Place of Residence: When the country is set to Republic of Korea, it can be automatically set by 'Capital Area/Non-Capital Area' or 'Capital Area Metropolitan Cities/Other' criteria, and if needed, specific regions can be individually selected.
✅ Screening Questions
Can only be selected when screening questions are included in the survey; you can add conditions based on how respondents answered the screening questions included in the survey.
2️⃣ Enter the target response count for each quota group.
✅ Surveys without screening questions: Enter the total required responses in 'Total Target Response Count'. The count and percentage are automatically entered when the total is input. Allocation options: Even allocation / Condition-based percentage allocation / Quota-based percentage allocation.
✅ Surveys with screening questions + 'Collect Immediately' selected: Select the expected IR for each created quota group (AI prediction is available for Korean surveys). Enter total target response count.
✅ Surveys with screening questions + 'Collect After IR Verification' selected: The IR verification procedure proceeds first. After IR verification is complete, enter the target response count based on the confirmed IR.
Non-Korean Panel Quota Setup Method
1️⃣ Create quota groups.
step 1. In 'Select Sampling Method', select [Custom Quota Setup].
step 2. In the 'Quota' area, click [+Add Quota Component] and select desired items.
✅ Panel Profile (Gender, Age, Place of Residence)
Gender, Age: Same as Korean panel.
Place of Residence: Can be set by city size or administrative divisions for overseas countries.
✅ Screening Questions: Conditions based on how respondents answered screening questions can be added.
2️⃣ Enter the target response count for each quota group.
Enter the total required responses. Allocation options: Even allocation / Condition-based percentage allocation / Quota-based percentage allocation.
For surveys with screening questions, the expected IR range must be directly selected. (AI prediction is not provided for Non-Korean panels.)
