Setting a post-survey destination

Learn how to set the screen respondents see after completing a survey.

Once a survey is completed, you can directly set the screen that respondents will be directed to. You can use the end page provided by Dataspace or set it to redirect to a user-specified URL.

The screen shown after completing a response can be used in various ways, such as notifying that the survey has ended, delivering a thank-you message to respondents, or providing additional information.


End page

The end page is the final screen shown to respondents after they finish the survey. You can directly enter guidance text or images, or freely change the end page configuration through custom settings.

Step 1. Please enter the guidance content or messages that respondents must know after completing the survey.

Step 2. You can set up to 3 end pages, and they can be added in the following ways:

  • You can add an end page by clicking the [+] button in the 'End page' area of the survey structure list on the left.

  • You can also add one by clicking the [+] button that appears when you hover over an end page in the survey structure list on the left.

  • A new end page can be added via the [+ Additional end page] button at the bottom of an end page.

Customizing the end page

📌 Customizing the end page is available in Professional or Enterprise plans.

You can create an end page that reflects your brand characteristics by setting whether to display the brand logo, images, action buttons, and the Dataspace banner.

Upload brand logo You can insert a brand logo at the top center of the survey.

  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG (Under 10MB)

  • Recommended size: 150 × 40

Upload image You can insert a desired image in the center of the survey.

  • Supported formats: JPG, PNG (Under 10MB)

  • Recommended size: 600 × 338

Action button

  • You can add a button to the end page and set it to navigate to a specific link when clicked.

  • Set it by entering the button name and the URL to be connected.


Redirect to a specified URL

📌 The 'Redirect to a specified URL' feature is available in Professional or Enterprise plans.

By utilizing the 'Redirect to a specified URL' feature, you can set respondents to automatically move to a pre-set URL after completing the survey without any additional clicks or operations.

Since they are connected directly to the page without going through an end page, you can reduce respondent drop-off and naturally lead them to the next step.

Step 1. Select the end page that will redirect to a specific URL upon survey completion, and click [Redirect to a specified URL] at the top of the end page.

Step 2. Enter the URL where the survey completers will be directed in 'Custom URL' on the right.

Understanding 'Redirect to a specified URL' through examples

You can divide respondents into different end pages based on screening conditions and design a more sophisticated customer experience by setting a URL suitable for each group. This allows you to provide guidance appropriate to the respondent's situation and encourage natural follow-up actions.

  • Screening pass respondents: Respondents who have normally completed the survey can be automatically directed to a point payment information page for in-house customer surveys, or to a thank-you message page for panel self-surveys.

  • Screen-out respondents: Respondents who do not meet the target conditions can be set to move to the brand homepage.

  • Over-quota respondents: If the set quota is exceeded, a simple thank-you message page can be displayed.

Parameters to insert into the URL

You can automatically add parameters to the custom URL set on the end page. The values that can be used are items registered in the 'Add Embedded data' menu.

Different parameters can be set for each end page, and it is also possible to put multiple parameters together in one end page.

By adding parameters to the URL like this, you can deliver the survey respondent's information to an external page. Use this to more conveniently automate various follow-up tasks such as respondent identification, reward payment, CRM integration, and marketing performance measurement.
